About Me

Hello! My name is Lei Yang(杨磊). I am a PhD student working under the supervision of Prof. Jianwei Gong in School of Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology. And I studied at MSC Lab of UCB as a visiting student from 2019-11 to 2020-11.

My research interests cover the area of motion planning, behavior decision and machine learning for autonomous cars. Now, my focus is more about how to combine conventional motion planning algorithms and learning-based methods for safety, stability and feasibility.

In the past few years, I have participated in many projects and competitions as participants or core leaders, including urban and off-road environments.
